Curry Hummus

Curry Hummus

Sick of regular hummus and need a hummus alternative? I love hummus and bring it to almost every event, plus it’s super easy and cheap to make yourself. Also, the possibilities are endless on flavor options. This time I decided to make a curry flavor and I’m so glad I figured out how to make this! It’s the perfect amount of flavor but not overpowering and won’t leave you smelling like curry the rest of the day. Try it with raw veggies, pita, chips, or crackers for a fun spin on a classic!

Curry Hummus

2 cans of chickpeas, keep 1/2 c aquafaba and drain the rest

1/2 c aquafaba

Juice of 1 lemon

1 tbsp tahini paste

1 tsp minced garlic

1 tbsp Thai red curry paste

1/2 tsp cumin

1 tsp curry powder

1/2 tsp garam masala

1/2 tsp turmeric powder

1/4 tsp cayenne powder

1/2 tsp salt

Blend in a high speed blender until smooth and that’s it!
