For Super Bowl I made this 3 Layer Mexican Dip for Josh and I and it was so tasty! Its so easy you can make it in 5 minutes! I got all of the ingredients from Trader Joe’s so it’s a one stop shop. You just need a can of the Fat Free Refried Beans, either the Avocados Number Guacamole or make it fresh, and the Salsa Authentica. I topped mine with fresh cilantro and served it with baked oil free tortilla chips sprinkled with Chili Lime seasoning. This time I made the guacamole from scratch and it’s always better than store bought. It’s great for parties, weekends, or whenever you want an easy dip that has a great flavor combo.
3 Layer Mexican Dip
1 can fat free refried beans
1 jar salsa Authentica
2 avocados, cubed
1 slice red onion, diced small
Juice of one lime
1/4 tsp seasoning salt
Cilantro for guac and topping
1. Scoop avocado into a bowl with red onion, lime juice, seasoning salt, and cilantro. Mash but still leave some texture.
2. Add a layer of refried beans on the bottom of the dish. Add a layer of guacamole and a layer of salsa and top with cilantro.
3. Cut corn tortillas into sixths, sprinkle with chili lime seasoning and bake on a parchment line pan on 350* for 15ish minutes until crunchy.
Enjoy!
Yum! If I would’ve saw this last night I would’ve made it to go along with the tacos.
