Josh used to have a burger any chance he got, so I tried to find a recipe that would help us feel like we can still have burgers and fries, but in a healthier way. I tried out a few veggie burger recipes and the result was a mushy patty with no texture and it definitely didn’t resemble a burger. These burgers were the best I’ve found and they satisfy that craving. I cut up a potato and baked them for our side of fries. I spray them with olive oil then sprinkle with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika and bake on 400* til crispy. I used lettuce as a bun and this meal still feels really hearty and satisfying.
