These are perfect because they’re simple, easy to make, and you don’t need a food processor. They only need a few ingredients and get crispy in a pan. I made rosemary sweet potato fries baked on the side and roasted up some broccoli and carrots as well. I don’t know why I always like my burgers with a toasted ciabatta roll as a bun. We used the Follow Your Heart Smoked Gouda on top which I added on the burgers once I flipped them and it was delicious! We topped them with avocado, lettuce, tomato, ketchup, and mustard. Yum!

1 can black beans, drained and rinsed
3/4 cup cooked quinoa
1/3 c Panko breadcrumbs
3 tbsp tomato paste
1 tsp Italian seasoning
1/2 tsp onion powder
1 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp paprika
Salt and pepper to taste
1. Mash black beans almost all the way but leave some chunks in there for texture.
2. Add the rest of the ingredients and stir to combine completely.
3. Form into 4 or 5 patties and cook in a pan over medium to medium high heat for 8-10 minutes on each side until crispy.
